Connecting Business and Youth

Top international students connect with business leaders at Junior Achievement’s Next Generation Leaders Forum

The world’s top youth leaders will gather at the 2014 Next Generation Leaders Forum from August 17-22 at Trent University in Peterborough, ON. Students from across the globe will connect with experts from business and academia to develop new perspectives, ideas and skill-sets during this unique, once in a lifetime opportunity.

Next Generation Leaders delegates have been individually selected as top performers in Junior Achievement's Company Program, and chosen to attend for their high potential and the opportunity to advance their career. These students are planning to embark on their post-secondary ambitions with specific interest in business-related careers.

The NGL experience is a unique blend of personal growth, practical experience and confidence building. Delegates face real business challenges and develop strategies in collaboration with their global peers, university faculty and industry volunteers. Having developed success skills that are essential to making their dreams a reality, students return to their schools and communities with a new perspective on what is possible. The relationships and life skills they build last a lifetime as they progress into higher education and the workforce.
